Hacienda San Francisco is a country hotel, located in the province of Imbabura, just 3 km from the Chachimbiro Spa. It opened its doors as a hosteria more than 20 years ago, a picturesque manor house looking across the marvellous Chota Valley below. This valley is known as “Little Africa” due to its warm climate and its indigenous black population contrasting with a natural exuberance of sugar cane.
